Automation for Cinematic Videography – 6 DOF ARM robot that has functionality for taking cinematic videography. We built a gripper to hold a camera or handphone, then robot was integrated with camera software, like LumaBooth. We also contribute to built the rebel robot API based on python programming for enabling the robot integration with external technologies such as Internet of Things and Virtual Reality. In addition, we built the web based user interface for monitoring and controlling the robot movement.

One of the industries that makes a positive contribution to the National Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is the Creative Industry, accounting for 7.8% of the National GDP (Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Minister of Tourism/16/10/2022).

There are some problems that we have faced, such as:
1. There is no automation process for const efficiency in creative industry such as videography and photography.
2. There is no open source API for rebel robot that provide us the capability to integrate with other technologies such as Internet of Things.
3. There is no monitoring and control system that can operate by user in online (web-based)

In this project, we have some contributions, such as:
1. building automation for production cost efficiency in creative industry such as videography for event organizer projects or product photoshot.
2. building an open source API for 6 DOF rebel robot IGUS for enabling technology integration. So that, the robot could integrate with Internet of Things, Backend Apps, and Virtual Reality.
3. building web-based monitoring and control system for user to control the robot from anywhere through website.
