Application description of the installation
The Corobot UR3e has been mounted to the slide table, increasing its range.
Problem definition
Given the type of parts to be lifted and the nature of the work, the UR3es legitimacy should have been recognized, but it lacked reach. There was a need for a seventh axle so that the small corobot could handle all the stations slightly apart.
How were processes optimized/costs saved/increased efficiency with automation?
The device, which included:
1) a precision rubber sheet measurement system,
2) software that verifies the results and sorts the measured items into four groups,
3) a printer, automated all activities previously performed only manually, i.e. measuring, verifying, sorting, etc.
