Adjustable, automatic belt tensioner for high speed FDM 3D printer. The bearing was used in two places: guiding the bearing housing and also acting as a support bearing for a simple, pin shaft.

An employee removes the bottles and caps from an unsorted cardboard box and places them on a collecting belt conveyor from which they are fed into the machine. Some of these flat modules require pressing low-profile connectors into the electronics during the manufacturing process. Small material handling lift for 10-metre vertical height. Earlier lift was using metal linear ball bearing. Because of misalignment of shaft, there were grove formations on shaft. Lift used to make lot of noise, and there was too much friction too.
The aim was to build a system that could automatically carry out various surface treatments: the samples must remain in certain baths for varying lengths of time, then be cleaned and treated in other baths. When the samples are manipulated manually, the dwell time is not as precise and the work is sometimes unpleasant because the baths can be up to 80 °C hot.
