Problem:
Visual recognition of the parts provided by a linear actuator.

Square parts need to be sorted out by colour and put autonomously in the appropriate order on a tray.

This process is controlled by Beckhoff PLC’s.

The students successfully completed the programming task and obtained their diploma thanks to this GIP (integrated task).

Solution:
Low- cost teaching of PLC controlled industrial processes made possible by igus’ versatile APIRO robot joints.
