The environmental conditions are favorable as they are indoor applications with good ventilation and stable temperature, there are no challenges in this regard, but the intention was to develop a maintenance-free machine. Requirements: Low maintenance and easy installation while maintaining high accuracy. Alternatives: linear ball bearings and ball screws. Also classic ball bearings. Phone calls were made to fine-tune the technical solutions.
They are used for linear motion in all three axes of the printer, the printed parts are placed on the spindles to improve precision and the cable chains provide an effective solution for guiding the electronic connections and protecting them. All parts due to the plastic technology help to reduce maintenance to a minimum. Special mention should be made of the dryspin technology that has allowed us to create the first 3D printer in common use with long pitch spindles, these spindles allow linear displacement speeds of up to 120 mm/s that preserve or even improve the characteristics of the belt drive. Solutions: T-section linear guides, carriages with adjustment, dryspin long lead screws and long lead nuts. The igildur filament has also been used for the realization of customized quick-fit nuts made by injection molding. Consideration has been given to upgrading the cable chains to improve low maintenance.
