Raagoma Tech has used the IGUS gantry system for Glue dispensing machine.
Gantry was programmed to move along the X,Y axis using PLC programming for dispensing the glue in a specified non geometrical shape.
Raagoma Tech has also used the IGUS drylin bushes for smooth movement to withstand wear caused by high motor speed and for smooth functioning.
Raagoma Tech has also used the IGUS Gantry system for automizing opening and closing of machine doors.
Problem definition
Customer requirement included non usage of oil, grease and other foreign substances for movement.
IGUS Gantry and Drylin products made of engineering plastic helped us to solve the problem as these are oil free and can be used for high frequency and are wear resistant.
How were processes optimized/costs saved/increased efficiency with automation?
Using IGUS Gantry system and Bushes helped in saving costs as compared to steel and increased efficicency and life of products because of its high wear resistance,.
