Apostore’s pick-and-place system consists of a robot cell and a supply system for feeding in healthcare-sector bulk goods. The robot cell contains a robolink controlled with a Beckhoff control system. The control system is connected to a Pickit3D 3D sensor.

A guide system with these bearings is the smallest on the European market.
The igus robot has been included in a concept that has been designed specifically for the emerging cannabis industry. The line concept is to package ‘joints’ into trays of 3 or 5 units, seal the tray (with a foil heat seal) and place the trays into cardboard cartons ready for final packaging.
The “bin-picking solution” system removes parts from a storage box and passes them on to the next machining or packaging process.

Adjustable, automatic belt tensioner for high speed FDM 3D printer. The bearing was used in two places: guiding the bearing housing and also acting as a support bearing for a simple, pin shaft.

The globally accepted practice is to count out earthworms by hand and then pack them in boxes. They are then bought by fishermen and others. Our innovative approach consists of construction of a WoPi (Worm Picker) system that counts worms automatically and puts them in boxes.
In the presented solution, iglidur H1FM-1618-12 slide bushings were adapted in place of traditional bronze bushings. This significantly extended maintenance-free time between overhauls.
A filling system for processing plastic bottles of 50 to 150ml capacity. An employee removes the bottles and caps from an unsorted cardboard box and places them on a collecting belt conveyor from which they are fed into the machine. There, the bottles are filled and labelled and the caps screwed on.
Pantel Elektronik manufactures flat modules according to customer requirements. Some of these flat modules require pressing low-profile connectors into the electronics during the manufacturing process. At the beginning, employees manually inserted the low-profile connectors into the tool carrier and then pressed them with the printed circuit boards.
Our application is aimed at localized weed control in the fields. With the help of an artificial intelligence that allows us to locate weeds, we are developing a system that can burn these weeds with a laser beam in a precise manner.
Automatic coffee machine testing system. The igus automation system operates 24 hours and 7 days a week, no problem. Once a day, the employee pours coffee into the tanks above the coffee machine and the coffee drains into the drain below the test site.

Small material handling lift for 10-metre vertical height. Earlier lift was using metal linear ball bearing. Because of misalignment of shaft, there were grove formations on shaft. Lift used to make lot of noise, and there was too much friction too.
The aim was to build a system that could automatically carry out various surface treatments: the samples must remain in certain baths for varying lengths of time, then be cleaned and treated in other baths. When the samples are manipulated manually, the dwell time is not as precise and the work is sometimes unpleasant because the baths can be up to 80 °C hot.
